Unlocked a comforting childhood Filipino chocolate recipe: champorado.
Here is my high-protein, blood sugar-balancing twist to this famous dessert.
Also, let's normalize eggs in our oatmeal!
I promise you will not taste it but instead you'll experience
the CREAMIEST consistency for oatmeal ever!
The message I want to express to you all is that it is truly possible to enjoy all your favourite foods. To experience it in a nutritious way, all we got to do is ADD rather than subtract or limit our enjoyment. Life really is much more than the scale or counting calories.
plain oats = resistant starch = fiber
eggs = complete protein
unsweetened cocoa powder = fiber, protein, antioxidants, minerals especially iron
chia seeds = fiber, protein, healthy fats
That said, this champorado-inspired oatmeal wouldn't be complete without the Pyure Chocolate Syrup an 1-2 pieces of your favourite white chocolate!
Pyure Chocolate Syrup has an unbelievable nutrient profile. It is a stellar chocolate syrup for those who want to cut-back on sugar but not lose the chocolate experience.

Darlene's Notes & Tips:
⭐️ If needed, you can microwave for an additional 30 sec to desired consistency. ⭐️ Key is to mix well in between !!!
⭐️ Feel free to swap the cocoa powder for chocolate protein powder to increase the protein profile.
⭐️ Feel free to sub in your favourite plant-based milk. I'd say the creamy the better: oat, rice, organic soy.
